If you are still looking for a rhythm guitar, here I am.... I have been playing on and off for years, but probably a tad rusty right now... I've recently taken up the bass.

Well, this seems to be dead, but just in case...

Lead vocalist/Keyboard player. Have been in and out of bands for many years, been about 3 years since the last one. Very interested in this. i am 51 also and live in the Huntington area.

How Are You Doing,

    Just read your post...I would be realy interested in getting together and doing something like this.  I am 50 plus and its been a long time since I played with people...I recently started getting the itch to meet some "nice" people to get together to jam ..have some fun and even get out and play.  I used to be a pretty good rhythm guitarist...classic rock stuff..may take a little bit to shake the rust off.  Let me know

Another drummer here. 42 years old, looking for a fun, no pressure situation in which to jam, gig out once in a while, and play some great songs. I probably know all the songs your interested in, and what I dont know I can learn really quick.
Married with 2 kids, live in Wantagh, no drugs, no attitude, definitely no ego. Just looking for once a week practice and maybe a gig or two a month at most.

I play lead guitar, 51.   I was in a good band for 8-9 years. 

What I would like to do is form a new band or jam, work with other musicians who are committed to practicing once a week, and playing out about once a month. 

Practice is get timming, chords and arrangements down reasonably well, be organized and focused, get around 50 songs down.  Playing out is just to have some fun with friends.
 
Music is primarily classic rock, clapton, SRV, Led Zep, skynard, billy joel  and some current stuff like U2 or nickleback, and what others would like to try. 

Looking for keys, vocals( must really be able to sing), rythm, bass...
people who have other things in their life also.

no egos, no drugs, no attitudes, no rock stars,  maybe some beer or jack daniels and lots of smiles. not looking to play out every weekend moving equipment at 4 in the am.
