Looking For Black Metal Musicians (Hauppauge/Smithtown)

If this is too long for you, sorry, but you're probably too stupid to actually comprehend black metal anyways.

I'm Steve, a 16 year old guitarist of proficient skill and a great shriek (black) and guttural (death) vocalist of almost all pitches. And well, I've been working on a one-man black metal project for a while now. I've written 3 FULL songs (tabbed out with ALL instruments in Guitar Pro 5, however am working on lyrics), and have written parts of other songs. As a musician who can write a full song within a day, I know my way around musical composition and theory.

Anyways, I'm looking to make my one-man project a complete band. It's not that I can't do it alone (believe me, I somewhat find writing easier alone), it's just that I'd like to play live, tour, and have that connection of a band, that being a one-man band doesn't quite fulfill, and I'd rather not pay to have session musicians. If you don't know what Black Metal is or at least any sub-genre of extreme metal (Death, Doom, and certain types of Thrash such as Sodom), well you probably shouldn't even bother with this post, but if you do, or are looking to get into it, well, I'm looking for musicians. Right now, I currently have a bassist and guitarist who might be joining, however, the bassist lives in Nassau and is more of a death metal fan, and the guitarist is unsure. So, I'm looking for a drummer and keyboardist mostly (as some parts have symphonic string sections), but if you are a bassist or guitarist looking to join, do tell me, because I'll pick you over them if you respond fast enough. And if I can find someone who can do shrieks even better than me (I mean without placing pounds of reverb on recording), then I'll switch to mainly lead guitar.

Now, you might be thinking, "If there's keyboards, is this a Symphonic Black Metal band?". Well, no. I grab aspects of all Black Metal sub-genres for my music. The songs center around standard black metal, however, multiple aspects of progressive, ambient, symphonic, and melodic black metal are present. Keyboards aren't overly done either, and are more of an atmospheric background addition. I see my dwelling into different sub-genres as more of a tool to find what's best, and experiment, rather than stick to one and limit myself. I can't limit myself either to a few influences, but I'd say my main influences for writing have been Gorgoroth, Burzum, Darkthrone, Drowning the Light, Dodsferd, Immortal, Judas Iscariot, Mayhem, old Satyricon (the Dark Medieval Times/Nemesis Divina era), and old Behemoth (their BM albums, but don't get me wrong, every album is amazing). Since I already have more than enough songs for a promo/demo, I'd like to really record them soon, but if I can't find any other true black metal fans to join, I'll either keep it a one man project, or switch over to death/blackened death metal or folk metal after I release the first demo at least. Also, I have an H2 Zoom for recording. While it's only one piece of equipment, it's a GREAT recorder and I know tons who use it from all different genres, including metal, jazz, blues, and rock. It sounds great, and is perfect for aspiring bands.

Here's a general criteria that you should fit into:
- Around age 14 to 18, but am lenient
- Have a good knowledge/liking of black metal, or at least extreme metal
- Should have a fair instrument/amplification (as long as your instrument works fine and sounds fine, it's fine, but for amplification, you should have at least 30w for gigs) or be getting one VERY soon, as we are recording this first demo/promo VERY soon. Remember, I already have songs written. As soon as they're learned by the band, we'll be going into recording them.
- Be willing to travel to Hauppauge AT LEAST for recording. If you can't make practices, you should have at least Guitar Pro 5 (or be willing to get it, this way you can practice the songs with it on your own time, and I can send them to you. I can help you torrent it for free if you want).
- Have a fair understanding/interest in black metal themes (Anti-Christianity, Corpsepaint/Black Metal stage appearances and nicknames, Paganism, Satanism, Fantasy/Mythology, Hatred, Nihilism, the usual...). No religious Christians please.
- No pussies.
