Hey.....I am 49 years old and have been playing guitar and keys since I was 10. I have focused on the bass over the last 15 years and Chris Squire of YES has been my model; he is my idol. I can play anything classic rock by ear. I have played in a few bands over the last five years and my chops are excellent. I got a B in Music Theory at Rutgers, and I understand the basics of scales and progressions, etc., but I still cannot read music.
I am loyal and dedicated and I really want to play to have fun. Making money is a bonus that I would not mind.
Guitarist and Drummer are looking to join/form a working band situation to play venues such as, bars/clubs, private parties, corp events, weddings, etc.. We are both very good at what we do and have been jamming together in various projects for quite a few years. We are looking for the same (talented and reliable players/vocalists) in whatever situation we find ourselves in. Too many times we find ourselves in a situation either where people cannot commit, or don't have the ability to put together an extremely solid and steady project. If there's anyone out there that is looking for the same as we are please get in touch w/me and lets discuss. For starters, were looking for bass, vox, keys. FYI, if you are just getting back into playing after years of hiatus, and or don't know anything about music theory, this may not be a beneficial situation for you. Hope to hear back, and thanks for reading.
