It's okay being a novice. I'm always more interested in where someone is going then where they are at the present. My name is Rob, I am a Jazz Pianist composer  I am looking for a Bassist to get together with Play Jazz tunes, standards, and my own jazz compositions, I have charts since I reharmonize most material I do.. I live is Valley Stream which isn't too far from you. Would you like to get together and do some playing?

Hi,

I'm a novice bassist (34 yrs old, contra bass) recently moved to Freeport LI and I am looking for jazz musicians to play with. I have little experience but have played in a 12 piece jazz workshop out in NJ and studies under Reggie Washington for about a year (he moved to Brussels).

I know some standards and can write. I apologize for the lame intro but i never reached out before...
