Hey there, my name is John, and I am a 36 year old songwriter/guitarist/bassist.  I LOVE melodic metal (Maiden springs to mind) and Steve Harris is a huge influence on my heavier bass playing and writing.  I write and play most styles, but don't get to play metal as often as I'd like.  Other influences include Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold, and early Queensryche (though they are often considered prog rock).   Would love to hear more about your ideas and vision for the band.  If you're interested, by all means drop me a line (email:  phntm94@cs.com).  BTW, i have my own equipment and transportation.   Keep fighting the good fight!
