I am trying to start a two piece sort of progressive post rock type of band. im influenced by a lot of stuff like anathema, steven wilson, a perfect circle, mogwai, explosions in the sky, red sparowes, jeff buckley, tool, buckethead's softer stuff, devin townsends solo work.... i have a lot of influences and things that i want to bring to the table.
i will be honest and say i dont have anything recorded. i have the stuff TO record but what i do is best when im working with at least a drummer. all im asking for is the opportunity to meet up. worst thing that happens is that we both or one of us says they dont like it, which i wont be offended by.
i have ten years of experience singing and playing guitar, and i want to work with someone else who is experienced. age doesnt matter to me, just that you have the ability to play in odd times every once in a while, not that you will have to all the time, and that you can get intense and relaxed when needed.
i definitely want to take this seriously, obviously i want to have a good time but i am not looking to do this just for fun.
