I saw your add. I played bass and sang with the Touch in the late 80s, then after time off getting married and having kids and establishing a career in IT, I played bass and sang in the Hackensack Men and the Trenton Horns in the 90s. Next I played guitar and sang in Gold Coast (very little known). I would be interested to meet you all as I still yearn to play out for sanity and stress relief and I saw that I know a lot of the songs on your list. If you want to hear some of what I do (mostly instrumental...adding more vocals) go to www.acidplanet.com/dannydonnelly/songs
Then let me know if you would like to meet. You can contact me via e-mail from the acid planet site if you wish. Ultimately, I would like to play guitar and sing (assuming your guitar player would be comfortable with a situation such as that).
Established and working long island band is looking to add a lead singer / front-man. We cover rock, R&B, funk, disco, (EWF, TOP, Chicago, Stevie Wonder, The Who). Must have good vocal range, high energy, able to work a crowd. You also need your own transportation and willing to help with the equipment.
This is an 8 piece band (soon to be 9) with a 4-piece horn section. Rehearsal is once a week in western Suffolk. We work a few times a month for fun, all paying gigs. Serious long-term commitment only, no mercenaries. Go to www.fuzzband.com
