Hey - I may be able to help you out and maybe you can help me out. I have a lite gig with a sax and keyboard player ( 1-2x /mo ) right now but do alot of home recording as well on jazz, blues, rock originals. I am early 40's and also live in Smithtown, play guitar, sing and a also write on a handful of other instruments. My trio could sometimes use a drummer but no hurry required. It would help my chops and study to work with you as well. Let me know if interested and we can talk some more.

New to the drums but not new to jazz.  I’m located in Smithtown but willing to travel 5-10 miles.  Would like to find guitar/bass or piano/bass duo to work on jazz standards from the real book.  Addition of a horn player would be nice but not necessary.  Not gig ready but interested in getting together 2 or 3 times a month just for fun.  Email if interested:  jazz.drums.li@gmail.com
