I saw your ad and realize it is from last summer for a bass player. I thought I'd try anyway. I'm looking for a working situation. Have gear and computer and am versatile with backing vocals, playing guitar, percussion etc. Please let me know if there's an open spot or you may know of any.
I'm 51, play frets and fretless, live in Patchogue, and I'm a fanatic about learning and performing excellently.
I'm using a hartke 3500 with a 4.5xl, jazz basses, and a behringer V-pro preamp but I can switch over.
I'm pretty simple - what songs, what versions, download on itunes, play accurately with them 30+ times before showing up at a rehearsal, and from being in recording bands I can work arrangements on my end.
Versatile bassist that can groove needed for a working wedding corporate band with some minor club work and showcases in between. We play everything from the 40's to todays top hits centering on classic dance and disco so you must be a pro and be able to groove. Being able to sing and/or play percussion is a major plus here. We have totally pro gear and you must also (We use POD so you need a Bass POD). We are all electronic and have an awesome sound with pro male & female vocalists. The pay is very good for the right person and we are looking for a dedicated addition to the band.
WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR MERCENARIES or someone looking for something better for the time being.
Please contact Craig for more information as this position needs to be filled ASAP.
