I'm a female vocalist 44 also looking to throw some music around.  Have extensive experience in Musical Theatre & Show Tunes but also love to sing all other types of romantic music & love songs, slow or upbeat, oldies but goodies (Crazy) Patsy Cline, country-Leann Rymes, John Denver, Kenny Rogers type to soft rock-Carpenters, Billy Joel, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Helen Reddy to Jazz and night club songs, etc., etc., etc.  I'm American but through my travels have learned to sing Bengali songs from Bangladesh and India....I'm game for mixing things up and getting back a long lost singing career and am looking for a band that meshes well together....seems like I'm looking for a more mature band that our more mature audiences can appreciate at their functions or gatherings...any music that the older population loves to pleasantly sing along to that brings back wonderful memories or puts a smile on your face......That's what it's all about for me.  Let's give it a whirl...We've got nothing to lose.  From Hicksville but willing to work the entire Nassau & Suffolk on Long Island.   Previous school teacher and also looking to share music with children of all ages and our local community.  Contact: ftddan3@aol.com  Thanks and have a lovely day!

Hey , I'm also early 50 .I've been playing drums for about 20 yrs. [ self taught ] I'm into all classic rock & more. My career prevents me from full time music but would love to hook up w/ some musicians to jam with.I have a great kit / sound system & a house we can play at in Babylon area. sat & sun. are best but some week days are also possible. Huntington?!?!? I'm out in Riverhead and that sounds pretty cool. It seems like most stuff is way west. Huntington sounds great. Can you give me any details?

Hi...I attend an acoustic jam once a month in Huntington usually the first Sunday afternoon of every month . and its open to anyone who wants to attend . Its totaly informal and fun . You have  some real good pros to begginer/ intermedites like myself. 
 I only been playing seriously for a little over a year. Athough I took lessons for about six months when I was fourteen . Now I,m 55 and I can tell you that that I regret not doing this a long time ago , because I can  say , without a doubt that playing and learning has been a gas . I , like yourself , execpt for once a month , play solo all the time and desire to make friends and jam with other musicians.

Looking to get out of a bit of a rut. Haven't played with anyone since my band died about a year and a half ago and I'm wanting to get a breather from the whole solitary composer thing.

So, if there are any informal jams out there or some people getting together to have some fun and make some music, email me. I'm not looking for a competition or perfection....just a non judgemental good time. I'm in my early fifties and I'll play most anything.....jazz to punk and everything in between. My cover repertoire is slim to none but more of making stuff up.

And if anything clicks and anyone wants to take it further, thats cool too.
