Looking for open jam sessions

Does anyone know of any open jam sessions (south shore LI-suffolk county).I am a 41 year old guitar player(not very good!)just looking to get out,have a good time,and socialize a bit,while doing something I love-playing my guitar!Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
