Country Singer - Rhythm Guitar Player on Long Island

I am a country singer who has been in New York for the past few months. I'm interested in joining or starting a country band here in New York.  Currently I am living in Nassau County on the border of Suffolk County.  My influences are Merle Haggard, Randy Travis and George Strait.
